SVS Provided Aftercare
After your pet’s surgical procedure, it’s important to provide proper aftercare to aid in the healing process.
SVS provides extensive aftercare to help your pet on the road to recovery.
Pain Management. A long-acting local anesthetic is injected during closing of every orthopedic surgery and most soft tissue surgeries, as appropriate.
Supplements. After each orthopedic surgery, SVS sends home supplements with their patients to aid in the healing process.
Rechecks. Each patient is welcomed back for free recheck visits to evaluate their recovery process.
Cold Laser Therapy. At every recheck visit, the SVS team will use cold laser therapy on the surgical site to accelerate the healing process.
Text Messaging Consultation. If you have any concerns regarding your pet’s behavior or recovery, SVS offers texting support until 9 PM on all surgery days.
